I'm the owner and principal designer of Rachel King Design, serving residential and commercial clients across Virginia and beyond.

From private homes to offices and restaurants, offering space planning to full project management. Every project is different, but I'm after spaces that are beautiful, functional, and grounded by how people actually live and work.

I'm drawn to materials and pieces that hold up over time, and I love finding the right vintage element or locally made piece that gives a space some soul. To me, good design quietly invites the moments that matter most: dinners that linger long, mornings that feel unhurried, holidays that feel like home.

Outside of work, you'll find me with my family, trying a recipe from a new cookbook, wandering an antique store, or working in the garden.
